Description

Soft and lightweight American deerskin with a vintage touch.  Deerskin has a beautiful grain finish and requires very little maintenance.  Very good abrasion resistance and tolerates moisture well.  A staple, basic dress or riding glove with an inch shorter cuff than our Classic Deerskin glove with added vintage inspired stitching on the back of the glove.  All purchases are cut and hand sewn to order.    Please allow one week for product to ship!  All leathers come from natural hides which may contain scarring, giving each pair its own character.

Sizing

Measure around your palm... If you don't have a soft tape measure.. use a string, mark it, lay it flat and measure it. This will give you your general size. If you like more or less room you could go up or down from there.  See illustration by going to top of the website and selecting About :: Sizing.  Deer is a very stretchy leather, and should fit tight to begin with and loosen up after a wear or two for a perfect fit.

Deerskin Shorty: Vintage

Very nice gloves!

This is my second pair of the deerskin shorty gloves from Sullivan Glove. The first pair I left on the bed of my truck and drove away. I had to reorder immediately as they are my favorite light winter gloves. The fit is great and quality and appearance are wonderful. They also tend to stretch and mold to perfectly fit the shape of your hands. Get a pair now.

Great Gloves!

I love the butter-soft feel of the deerskin, the smell of the leather and the fine American craftsmanship. Keep up the good work.

Seems to me they’re running on fumes

There are extra thread holes. There are random blemishes that are obviously due to manufacturing error, not just normal leather blemishing. There are knots in the interior from where three pieces of leather meet that haven’t been addressed in any way. They will break in well, but the threading is already looking loose around the webbing on the thumbs.

Thanks for the review George - we stand behind our stitching for the life of the glove. Can we send a return label to take a look at these for you?

Great handmade gloves

Craftsmanship is top notch. The fingers on both my shorty and my ropers were a bit too long, my hope is that different length can be offered in the future.
