Uglies? What's an "Ugly"? Premium American leather gloves with cosmetic flaws—tannery scars or small sewing variations. Same legendary durability, just not as pretty. Also known as a factory second. Uglies are sold as a random assortment / grab bag based on the selected size. Each 3-pack can consist of a combination Buffalo (American Bison), Elk, Deerskin, or Goatskin gloves. Perfect for work that's hard on gloves: ranching, construction, riding, or any job where performance beats perfection. Because uglies are already made, they'll ship out within 3 business days. 

Important note: uglies are tagged as such on the inside of the glove, and are not refundable or exchangeable. Uglies happen at random during the manufacturing process, one of the best values we can offer, but by nature a limited quantity. If we don't have your size check back later!

    Excellent product; great customer service

    After reading earlier reviews I was hesitant but upon receipt of my order (three pairs of 'uglies' factory seconds) I could not be more pleased. I cannot tell what made these three pairs fall short of quality control criteria; they fit well, look good, and display no obvious flaws whatsoever. If my order is an indication of what others can expect, then the 'uglies' random glove option is well worth the cost.

    I have worn Sullivan gloves before and size large was just right
    These are way too small , I'll try to send them back.

    July 31, 2026: today we released factory seconds / uglies on the site once again (after a four year absence). We've received a few questions related to the sizing comments brought up in this review from 2021. Wanted to post this reply so folks will see this note if they're looking at this product in 2026 or beyond. Customers who order factory seconds from us, will receive 3 pairs, all of the same size, and only in the size that they selected. So this review was definitely a valid review, but it's not how things are any longer.

    I didn't realize I was getting different sizes

    Only one is my size the rest are two sizes up. The quality is great though
