Description

Soft, but heavy 4-5oz American elk leather.  Elk skin has a beautiful grain finish and requires very little maintenance.  Superior abrasion resistance to deer skin and tolerates moisture very well.  A fantastic all around work and chore glove.  Lined for Fall and Winter wear.  All purchases are cut and hand sewn to order.    Please allow two weeks for product to ship!  All leathers come from natural hides which may contain scarring, giving each pair its own character.

Sizing 

Measure around your palm... If you don't have a soft tape measure.. use a string, mark it, lay it flat and measure it. This will give you your general size. If you like more or less room you could go up or down from there.  See illustration by going to top of the website and selecting About :: Sizing.  Lined gloves should fit true to size, you should not need to size down with a lined elk glove to get a nice snug fit.

    Lined Elk Ropers - Run Very Large

    I purchased a pair of the Lined Elk Roper gloves, and I liked how they looked, very well made. I had previously ordered a pair of the XXL goat work gloves and loved them...fit perfectly, like a glove. But these lined Elk Ropers are way too large, about an inch longer in the fingers than my fingers are. I have very large hands but these are crazy long in the fingers and thumbs. I wrote an emailed and phoned over a month ago to Taylor to try and return them, but haven't received any correspondence back. I really like the gloves other than they look like clown hands. Too bad.

    Great gloves are excellent quality and durable. The only mild disappointment was that it was a little late for my grandfathers Christmas gift even though I ordered it two weeks before, but I do understand these are hand made and great gloves you should definitely get them if you're interested in a high quality work glove.

    Holy elk these are gorgeous! Extremly supple leather. Can't wait to watch these patina. Perfect fit. size large for 9 inch width palms and short stumpy fingers 8" from wrist to tip of middle finger.

    Great gloves!!

    These gloves are great, just like the other pairs I've gotten from Sullivan Glove. I'm leaving a 5 star review since the only issues are very minor, such as the hot spot on my left pinky that will probably go away after breaking them in, and the misprint on the tag (says women's size M despite ordering, and fitting, a men's size M), so I'm still very happy with the purchase overall.
