Description

Soft, but heavy 4-5oz American elk leather.  Elk skin has a beautiful grain finish and requires very little maintenance.  Superior abrasion resistance to deer skin and tolerates moisture very well.  A fantastic all around work and chore glove.  Lined for Fall and Winter wear.  All purchases are cut and hand sewn to order.    Please allow one week for product to ship!  All leathers come from natural hides which may contain scarring, giving each pair its own character.

Sizing

Measure around your palm... If you don't have a soft tape measure.. use a string, mark it, lay it flat and measure it. This will give you your general size. If you like more or less room you could go up or down from there.  See illustration by going to top of the website and selecting About :: Sizing.  Lined gloves should fit true to size, you should not need to size down with a lined elk glove to get a nice snug fit.

    Winter Work Glove

I got these for a winter work glove. I just got them, but they are warm, and they seem ready for the task.

I will also note, the customer service at Sullivan is amazing. My fingers are a little short, and Jake was very patient as we found the right glove. Customer for life. Thanks again.

    Best gloves I’ve had

Glove fitting is a finicky thing. But for me, Sullivan’s medium has been the best fitting glove I have found. The Elk leather is strong and this lined version needs to break in. They did bother a little on the pinky finger but all it takes is to move the seam, make a fist and adjust the glove. It might seem much to some but if you have used leather before you know it relaxes/conforms to you with use. These are very well made, no alien fingers as you find on cheaply made fingers. I am so glad I found these gloves and I hope to get a few more.
