Description
Soft, but heavy 4-5oz American elk leather. Elk skin has a beautiful grain finish and requires very little maintenance. Superior abrasion resistance to deer skin and tolerates moisture very well. A fantastic all around work and chore glove. Lined for Fall and Winter wear. All purchases are cut and hand sewn to order. Please allow two weeks for product to ship! All leathers come from natural hides which may contain scarring, giving each pair its own character.
Sizing
Measure around your palm... If you don't have a soft tape measure.. use a string, mark it, lay it flat and measure it. This will give you your general size. If you like more or less room you could go up or down from there. See illustration by going to top of the website and selecting About :: Sizing. Lined gloves should fit true to size, you should not need to size down with a lined elk glove to get a nice snug fit.

This is one sturdy glove. I wear a XL in the unlined deerskin glove so I sized up to an XXL in this lined elk roper glove and it was too large. I contacted Sullivan Glove about an exchange and everything went extremely smoothly. I received an XL and they fit great. Sullivan Glove is a pleasure to do business with.
A nice pair of gloves! So nice in fact I agree with the others that it's almost hard to want to use them knowing how nice they are! Got a pair of these for Christmas and I might gift a pair of these to my dad! Lining seems to be a wool/synthetic blend I reckon 80/20 % give or take but I'm no expert just feels real nice! I'm definitely coming back for a pair of Deerskin Shorty Vintage black gloves for the spring/summer!

The grain pattern on these gloves is beautiful. The width of my hands is 9 inches, and the large size fits me perfectly !!!
