Heavy duty 4-5oz American buffalo leather. Buffalo has a very textured grain that takes several uses to break in, but is worth the time for a hard wearing glove. Buffalo leather offers our highest abrasion resistance glove and forms to your hand as you break it in with limited stretch. A fantastic all around work and chore glove. All purchases are cut and hand sewn to order. Please allow one week for product to ship! All leathers come from natural hides which may contain scarring, giving each pair its own character.
Measure around your palm... If you don't have a soft tape measure.. use a string, mark it, lay it flat and measure it. This will give you your general size. If you like more or less room you could go up or down from there. See illustration by going to top of the website and selecting About :: Sizing. Buffalo has very little stretch, consider staying right at your measurement or sizing up to make it a roomier glove.

While the gloves are okay, they don't "fit like a glove" in that some fingers are too long, other's are just the right length and so the areas of my hand where the "webbing" of my fingers are tend to dig into the gloves. Also the finish isn't what I expected; what I saw in the picture in the email and on the site didn't match. The gloves will do well for winter etc. though.
These gloves are amazing. The build quality and feel are just so solid.
The size was too large but I am just swapping them for a smaller version.
So great to have companies like this!
The leather is great, it feels very durable. The fingers are a bit long but the rest of the glove fits well and will break-in to my hand eventually. The lining feels very flimsy, work gloves I've had before with similar lining always comes out, and rip pretty early in the gloves life
Well-made pair of lined gloves with all the natural characteristics a bison hide develops over a lifetime. If you're looking for a pair of gloves that are perfectly matched without imperfections in the leather, I would advise you to look elsewhere. If you want a pair of gloves with unique characteristics, then here is where you want to shop. The leather is thick, grainy, and should last a long time. The lining should be good for the fall and winter seasons in the Northeast. Made in the USA.
Another great quality pair of gloves from Sullivan Gloves. Thick but pliable leather that should last for many years, and with a micro-fibre lining that adds additional warmth to an already protective glove. Has a perfect cuff length that extends over shirt/jacket sleeves in colder weather but is also easily tucked under if that suits better.
